Our approach
At Studio Mura, aesthetics are a core value.
At Studio Mura, we offer an Aesthetic Dentistry Experience with a scientific approach that aims at improving the quality of life of our patients, creating refined aesthetics that enhance each patient's individual beauty, as well as functionality.
Neuroscience and neuroaesthetics have proven that aesthetics improves an individual's physiological response, elicits positive reactions, and transforms anxiety into curiosity.
Aesthetics is not just about your smile. Your teeth must be in harmony with your facial expressions, which are conditioned by a neuro-muscular balance that regulates the functionality of the craniomandibular system.
An Aesthetic Dentistry Personalized Experience involves 3 stages:
- Aesthetic and functional analysis using facial scanners and digital simulators that generate an initial 3D simulation
- Pre-visualization on a monitor of the aesthetic and functional results that can be achieved by harmonizing the shapes and the color of the teeth with the patient's face
- Aesthetic test of the smile with a temporary reconstruction, which the patient wears for a few hours (mock-up). The dental lab adjacent to our clinic is a fundamental support that allows us to make adjustments in real time when needed
Step-by-step, our patients can then view, share in, and approve the aesthetic improvements that will become harmonic with their faces and their own personality, as well as improve function.
Depending on the needs of each patient, the aesthetic treatment may require
- Whitening
- Veneers
- Aesthetic composite restorations
- Crowns
- Implants
- Orthodontics

How is a dental aesthetic analysis performed?
1. With the help of an intraoral optical scanner, we obtain a detailed reconstruction ofthe patient's entire mouth. Then, with the aid of a computer, we create an initial aesthetic study on these images, which allows us to obtain a pre-visualization on a monitor. With these simulations, we give our patients the possibility to initially assess the aesthetic improvements that can be achieved overall with veneers or crowns.
2. Once the computer study and pre-visualization are completed – following the aesthetic-functional indications obtained, and based on the digital models of the mouth – we create masks made of aesthetic material (mock-ups), which are directly applied to our patient's teeth. When the masks are tried on, we can observe the new shape and color of the teeth and how they harmonize with the patient's face, smile, and function. This allows patients to directly observe the aesthetic result that can be achieved, as well as test the masks for a few hours and, along with the dentist, decide if changes have to be made for the final aesthetic result. A mask gives an accurate projection of the aesthetic result that can be achieved, which is more personalized compared to the computer image generated by the software that we use only in the initial phase as an aid.
3. At the conclusion of the second aesthetic analysis, we photographically record and, on a large screen, display the aesthetic results obtained with the trial masks. Our goal is for our patients to be able to actually see the images of the new aesthetics on the screen and then assess - in a more "detached" manner as compared to a direct view - the improvements that will be achieved.
What is dental whitening or bleaching?
We have been using state-of-the-art whitening methods for many years.
Currently, with the latest generation of lasers dedicated to this process, we have increased the possibilities of solving the most complex discolorations.
The dentist and hygienist formulate a personalized whitening/bleaching treatment for each patient. In order to get an idea of the final result, the hygienist does an initial test to assess the response of each individual tooth. This test is used to refine the technique and choose the most suitable materials in relation to both the type of discoloration and the causes, ensuring that an optimal result is obtained: namely, the bright smile our patients desire!
