Dr. Priamo Mura graduated as a dental technician at a very young age, and then received his medical degree from La Sapienza University in Rome, specializing in Dentistry.

An expert in Minimally-Invasive Robotic Implant Surgery, he furthered his knowledge by attending numerous internships and post-graduate masters in prosthodontics, gnathology, and periodontology in the United States.

From 1989 to 2000, he collaborated with Professor Stromberg in Sweden, acquiring more knowledge on implant surgery and specializing in implant placement in patients with severe bone atrophy.

A former active member of S.I.O. (Italian Society of Osseointegration), he is an active member of IAO (Italian Academy of Osseointegration).

Dr. Mura has published numerous scientific papers in national and international journals.

He has been a member of the Nobel Biocare Study and Research Group for over 30 years.

• Adjunct professor in surgical specialties for the undergraduate course in Dentistry at the University of L'Aquila (1992-1994).
• Lecturer for the Master's Program in Implantology and Prosthetics at the La Sapienza University of Rome (1995-2018).
• Scientific Director and Lecturer for the Master's Program in Implantology and Prosthetics organized in Barcelona (Spain) by the Escuela Superior de Implantologia (1997-2001).
• Scientific Director and Lecturer for the Master's Program in Implantology organized by the Escuela Superior de Implantología in Buenos Aires, Argentina (1998-2000).
• Speaker in numerous congresses in Europe, the United States, Argentina, Egypt, and the Middle East.

Dr. Mura has created mini-invasive implant surgery techniques (Split Crest Flapless and Immediate Load), designed for resolving extreme cases, which have been published in authoritative scientific journals.

He has developed a specific protocol for the prevention and care of oncological patients treated with radiotherapy for the head and neck.

He treats complex occlusal and jaw-related disorders.
